Book your stay and come enjoy! —Seawall & Beaches: 0.3 miles; 7-minute walk —Stewart Beach: 0.6 miles; 13-minute walk —The Strand: 1.2 miles; 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive —Cruise Terminal: 0.8–1.7 miles; 3–7-minute drive (depending on which cruise terminal) TWO HOMES Enjoy access to the 3-bedroom/3-bath main house as well as the 1-bedroom/1-bath guest cottage. Both have full kitchens and all the amenities you need for a great getaway. (Don't need both homes? Each can be rented by itself. Inquire for details.) POOLS & OUTDOOR The outdoor entertaining areas are what really set this home a part. Enjoy the refreshing private pool when the weather's warm. And when it's not — the pool is heated at no additional cost. (That’s right, $0 folks.) There is also a separate stock-tank pool with comfort liner that can heated to 102 degrees. Grill up your favorite foods on the Weber gas grill, enjoy a game of ping pong, and take in a sports game with our outdoor-rated 55" Roku Smart TV mounted on a swivel so it can face either the shaded sitting area or the pool. TWO KITCHENS The remodeled kitchen in the main house features Viking appliances (including a gas stove), a Blendtec blender, Keurig coffee machine, Ninja cookware, and is fully stocked and ready for your culinary pleasures. The kitchen in the guest cottage also has plenty of space for cooking and all the amenities you need, as well as another Keurig. BEDROOMS Sink into the hybrid mattresses with luxurious Pottery Barn bedding. Plus, every room comes with a ceiling fan to keep you cooler at night. —Bedroom 1: Master with king bed and en-suite bathroom —Bedroom 2: King bed —Bedroom 3: Queen daybed + twin bunk bed —Bedroom 4: Queen bed (in guest cottage) —Living Room 2: Queen sleeper sofa (The main house also contains two twin foldable sleeping pads, as well as a Pack 'n Play in both houses.) TVs There are ample ways to unwind with your favorite show or sports game with Roku Smart TVs located in both living rooms, outdoor seating area by the pool, and two of the bedrooms. Just log in to your subscribed streaming platforms, and the TVs will automatically log you out when you upon checkout.
Other Details to Note
MUSIC & QUIET HOURS Per Galveston City Ordinance, quiet hours are from 10 p.m.-8 a.m. You may still use the pool and outdoor areas after 10 p.m., but if you do, music must be completely off and other noise must be kept to low/minimal levels. During the day, music should be kept at low/reasonable levels out of respect to neighbors. PETS Pets are not permitted at this property. HURRICANE SEASON Hurricane season is June 1–November 30. If traveling during these dates, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, either through Airbnb or from another insurer, with coverage for natural disasters. While hurricanes rarely impact the Galveston area, it’s always possible, and they may impact your personal travel getting to the area. Refunds are not provided for weather-related trip delays, unless there is an evacuation order in the vicinity of this property. Travel insurance can protect you from circumstances that may hinder you getting to the property, such as flight delays or cancellations. POOL WAIVER OF LIABILITY By renting this property, guest understands that use of the pool by the guest and others staying at the property is at guest's own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the pool and the areas around the pool. Guest accepts full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the pool by any guests staying on property, and that the property owner is not responsible for any such injuries. Guest understands there are potential dangers that the pool may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as danger to any person using the pool if a person has health risks, using while intoxicated, using any kind of drugs or medication, or pregnant. Guests agree to be fully responsible for any accidents guests may incur. Guest understands that there is a child-lock gate at the top of the back stairs of the main house leading to the pool as well as a child lock at the top of the back door of the main house leading outside to the pool area. Guest understands that it is the guests' responsibility to engage these locks for them to be effective. Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that all guests on property will assume responsibility for and the consequences of those risks. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against owner or Gulf Haven LLC for accidents or claims arising from guests’ use of the pool.
