LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! At Gulf Haven you'll be right in the thick of what Galveston has to offer. Book your stay, and come enjoy! —Seawall & Beaches: 0.3 miles; 6-minute walk —Stewart Beach: 0.6 miles; 13-minute walk —The Strand: 1.2 miles; 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive —Cruise Terminal: 0.8–1.7 miles; 3–7-minute drive (depending on which cruise terminal) POOL/HOT TUB Enjoy the Cowboy Pool with comfort liner. The pool/hot tub can heated up to 104 degrees. (Please note: This is not a traditional hot tub with powerful jets. It does have jets that circulate the water, but this is more of a soaking pool.) BEACH AMENITIES Headed to the beach on your trip? We have you covered with a provided beach wagon filled with two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and some sand toys if you have little ones. Feel free to enjoy them (and save money by not having to rent them while at the beach). There are also four beach towels for your use. GOLF CART RENTAL Beachin' Rides offers an exclusive discount for guests who stay at this property! (Discount is not available during holiday weeks or during other local special events.) Contact us for details. KITCHEN This coastal cottage has all you need to make your favorite meal. Also enjoy a blender, Keurig coffee machine with provided K-cups, and everything you need to make and enjoy meals. BEDROOM The bedroom has a super comfortable queen bed with Pottery Barn bedding, as well as it's own a/c unit, ceiling fan, and blackout drapes to help you keep cool at night. The living-room sectional also pulls out into a queen sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress to sleep up to two additional guests. TV There are ample ways to unwind with your favorite show or sports game with the Roku Smart TV located in the living room. Just log in to any streaming platform you subscribe to, and the TV with automatically log you out upon check out. OUTDOOR There are two outdoor sitting areas for you to enjoy — two chairs on the front porch, and Adirondack chairs by the pool. (Need more space? You can also book the 3-bedroom main house with pool next door. Inquire for details.)

QUIET HOURS Per Galveston City Ordinance, quiet hours are from 10 p.m.-8 a.m. You may still use the pool and outdoor areas after 10 p.m., but if you do, music must be completely turned off and other noises must be kept very low. HURRICANE SEASON Hurricane season is June 1–November 30. If traveling during these dates, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, either through Airbnb or from another insurer, with coverage for natural disasters. While hurricanes rarely impact the Galveston area, it’s always possible, and they may impact your personal travel getting to the area. Refunds are not provided for weather-related trip delays, unless there is an evacuation order in the vicinity of this property. Travel insurance can protect you from circumstances that may hinder you getting to the property, such as flight delays or cancellations. POOL WAIVER OF LIABILITY By renting this property, guest understands that use of the stock-tank pool by the guest and others staying at the property is at guest's own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the pool and the area around the pool. Guest accepts full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the pool by any guests staying on property, and that the property owner is not responsible for any such injuries. Guest understands there are potential dangers that the pool may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as danger to any person using the pool if a person has health risks, using while intoxicated, using any kind of drugs or medication, or pregnant. Guests agree to be fully responsible for any accidents guests may incur. Guest agrees to secure pool cover when pool is not in use. Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that all guests on property will assume responsibility for and the consequences of those risks. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from guests’ use of the pool.

Guest Access
PARKING Off-street parking is available for one vehicle in the right 1/3 portion of a semi-circle driveway, and free street parking is also available in front of or near the house. (The driveway is partially shared with the home next door. The far left 2/3 portion of the semi-circle driveway is reserved for that house.) Please note that the driveway is slightly steep and narrow upon entering, but it is wide enought for all size vehicles. If you have a vehicle low to the ground, enter and exit slowly to avoid scraping the bottom of your vehicle. And please drive carefully to avoid driving over the landscaping and retaining wall.
