DOG FRIENDLY Enjoy the flexibility of bringing your dog along on your getaway. Requirements: 1) Dog must be 40 pounds or less 2) Only one dog permitted 3) Dog must be kenneled when unsupervised 4) Dog must be house trained 6) Dog waste must be picked up outdoors 6) Please bring blankets to protect furniture 7) Dog must be disclosed when booking (pet fee required) In the event of damage as the result of a dog, additional charges may be applied. QUIET HOURS Out of respect for guests and local residents staying in adjacent vacation homes or permanent residences, outdoor quiet hours are from 11 p.m.-8 a.m. You may still use the pool and courtyard area after 11 p.m., but if you do, please keep volume to low/minimal levels. HURRICANE SEASON Hurricane season is June 1–November 30. If traveling during these dates, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, either through Airbnb or from another insurer, with coverage for natural disasters. While hurricanes rarely impact the Galveston area, it’s always possible, and they may impact your personal travel getting to the area. Refunds are not provided for weather-related trip delays, unless there is an evacuation order in the vicinity of this property. Travel insurance can protect you from circumstances that may hinder you getting to the property, such as flight delays or cancellations. POOL WAIVER OF LIABILITY By renting this property, guest understands that use of the stock-tank pool by the guest and others staying at the property is at guest's own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the pool and the area around the pool. Guest accepts full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the pool by any guests staying on property, and that the property owner is not responsible for any such injuries. Guest understands there are potential dangers that the pool may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as danger to any person using the pool if a person has health risks, using while intoxicated, using any kind of drugs or medication, or pregnant. Guests agree to be fully responsible for any accidents guests may incur. Guest agrees to secure pool cover when pool is not in use. Guest understand that the front door of the back house that leads directly to the pool area has a safety lock that guests may use for added safety. Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that all guests on property will assume responsibility for and the consequences of those risks. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from guests’ use of the pool.
